On Easter we celebrate the historical fact that nearly 2,000 years ago a man died, lay in a grave for three days and then ascended into Heaven.  Easter is a celebration of Jesus Christ and the realization that the events of Good Friday and Easter Sunday have meaning for us today. Christmas would have little meaning without Easter.  The tomb in Jerusalem is still empty.
